Merz has been on our list for quite some time. Can you believe they've been around for 111 years? That's currently our oldest brand! This year, we've dipped our toes back into their chunkier knit program. We couldn't think of a better introduction than a wool cashmere blend cardigan. This thing is packed with texture while remaining soft and most importantly, warm. We love the way the cardigan works with a bagier pant as it's not too long in the body. You can pair this with more basic items and make it the showstopper piece of the look. The thick black buttons and patch pockets accentuate the relaxed fit of this gorgeous garment.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a large in the pictures. Because this is a relaxed fit, he could get away with not having to go all the way to an XL. Even with the shorter length, this sit exactly where he needed it in the body. Tomy is 5'10," 165lbs, with a 40" chest, and typically wears a North American M, a Japanese L, and a Merz XL.
